Course Outline

Refresher courses are 10 hours long and take place over one weekend, with 5 hours tuition Saturday and the same on Sunday. They are a great way to refresh previous language skills, which you may not have used for a while, or brush up ahead of a trip abroad or one of our other evening & part-time courses.

Refresher courses are available in two levels: Elementary Refresher and Intermediate Refresher.

You can follow-up your Refresher course with one of our 10-week, 5-week Fast Track or 1-week Intensive courses across the UK, or a full-immersion language course abroad, if you want a more in-depth preparation or to carry on learning.

What will I learn?

The course outlines give an overview of the content and learning framework of Cactus part-time group courses and include themes, grammar and vocabulary you can typically expect to cover. These are intended as a guide only and our teachers may at times adapt the course content to suit the specific level, aims and interests of the class.

All of our courses are carefully structured and designed to cover a wide range of topic areas, grammatical structures and skills. Cactus Foreign Language Courses include the following elements:
