Through the Suzanne Furstner Prize Cactus TEFL is giving away a TESOL course in London or a CELTA course in Bogota, Colombia and we have selected our finalists! Our entrants were asked to make a short video explaining why they want to become an English language teacher, to give them the opportunity of winning a course that will equip them with the skills and confidence needed to launch a career in English language teaching.

Thank you to everyone who entered the competition. We had some fantastic, inspiring entries from all over the world and have selected our top 6 finalists which you can see below. The winner will be announced on Friday 3rd June 2016.

Suzanne Furstner Prize

This annual prize gives aspiring English language teachers from all the world the chance to win a TEFL course. The Suzanne Furstner Scholarship was set up in 2006 in memory of our much-loved colleague Suzanne. To date, we have sent winners to take CELTA and TESOL courses in centres all over the world.
