This will be a group course which acknowledges individual
needs. Its content will be academically sound and will promote
and lead towards long term aims with the language. The teaching,
by native speaker teachers, will be communicative, intimate,
fun and will engage and stretch the students. Although the
emphasis will be on speaking and listening, grammar will be
included and taught in context. Our courses are monitored
throughout and feedback will be gathered and acted upon by
Cactus.

St. Peter's School is in the middle of the historic city of
Canterbury and has been teaching English to foreign students
since 1966. A small school with 40-60 students outside the
summer months, it has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. St.
Peter's is recognised by the British Council and is a member
of English UK. The school has 7 classrooms with use of video
and audio equipment. There is also a video room/computer centre
where students can work on language programmes individually
in the afternoons from 15.00 - 16.45.
