I have been teaching for 12 years in general, and I have been teaching for Cactus for 8 years in Liverpool.
I have been living in the UK for over 10 years now.
I studied English Literature, Linguistics and Civilisation in France with a module on French as a Foreign Language. I am also trained as a secondary school teacher and obtained a PGCE in Modern Languages. I teach French in primary schools, I tutor for GCSE and A level privately. I give evening classes for adults of all levels and offer 1-1 sessions for children in their own home.
I always keep busy and recently graduated as a tour guide. I also work as an extra on films and series shot in the North West, so keep your eyes peeled!
In France, we believe bells ring above our gardens and houses at Easter, dropping chocolate everywhere hence why you can wake up to find sweet treats stuck in the gutter or at the top of a tree!
One of my favourite party foods from France is “la galette” which we have on 6th January when we celebrate the Epiphany. The cake is made of almond with puff pastry and inside a porcelain figurine is hiding… The one who finds it is the King or the Queen for the day and wears a golden crown (it’s made of cardboard, but still!)
My best teaching experience literally happens on a daily basis. Whenever a student conveys what they mean or suddenly understands something I say or explain, it is the most rewarding aspect of my job. From the age of 4 to retirement!
To me a good lesson is full of laughter.
I hope to see you soon on my course🌕🎈!
Aurevoir!
