Messa Hammoud: First Teacher Of The Intake 2017
We are very pleased to announce that our Teacher of the Intake for the January to March 2017 courses is Messa Hammoud, one of our French teachers in London. Messa has been teaching for Cactus for several years and her classes are always characterised by an engaging and dynamic atmosphere. In fact, she is currently teaching two of our French evening courses at different locations in London due to the students high level of satisfaction regarding her methodology after our first intake of 2017.
What Messa enjoys most about teaching is seeing every student progress in both language skills and confidence and working with the diverse blend of people that Cactus connects her with. She would describe her students as brilliant and all so different, I enjoy building relationships with them and getting to know the practical uses for their learnings. The activities they usually like the most are conversational exercises and role plays, which are great ways to break the ice and develop their self-assurance and speaking skills.
Messas lessons are nicely structured although there is always space for flexibility. She adapts to the needs of the students in every class and to what they need to recap in order to clarify any doubt related to their homework or any past lesson content.
What keeps her constantly motivated as a teacher with us is meeting people from so many walks of life who put their new-found skills to use in so many different ways; it’s interesting to see how teaching languages can make a greater impact professionally or personally.
