Czech is a Western Slavonic language spoken by about 12 million people, mostly in the Czech Republic but also across Europe and the US. Closely related to Slovak and Polish, it has for centuries been the language of poetic and literary creation. It is now becoming a significant language as the Czech Republic boasts one of the EU’s most rapidly growing economies. Cactus’ evening Czech courses will introduce you to the language through fun and engaging lessons.
Your classes will take place in small, interactive groups. In your Cactus language classes you will learn standard Czech, and the lessons will focus on vocabulary, grammar, communication and pronunciation. Please visit our course outline page for full information on the course content, and check our Language Course Questions page for detailed information on what to expect from our courses. To support your language evening classes, you can check out the free Czech resources carefully assessed by the Cactus Team and listed for your reference. You can also check your level here.
