Can you say hello in your language and introduce yourself?

¡Hola! ¿Qué tal? My name is Antonio, but everybody calls me Toño because, you can see, I am not Antonio Banderas… I teach Spanish in London

How long have you been living in the UK?

I moved to London two years ago, which is when i started teaching for Cactus

What is your degree and teaching experience?

I have a Degree in Art History, and when I realised that teaching is my passion, I did a Postgraduate in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. After that, i did a Masters degree in Research in Language and Literature Teaching at University of Barcelona. I have taught in Spain, Sweden and Russia.

Have you ever worked in another field?

I have worked as a journalist and in customer service.

Where were you born and what is the city famous for?

I was born in Barcelona, a famous city for Gaudí (Architect), Messi (Footballer), beaches, sun and food.

Do you have specific language learning tips?

Don’t forget that learning a language is step by step process. Use every opportunity you have to practice and use your target language. Most importantly, try to enjoy what you are learning.
