Cactus offers Group Evening Portuguese Language Courses across the UK and private and corporate Portuguese language tuition throughout the world. Our private Portuguese language tuition is delivered in your place of work, home or over Skype, at the time and days of your choice for maximum flexibility.
Cactus Portuguese evening language courses are based on European Portuguese course materials and a European Portuguese course book. However, your teacher may be European Portuguese or Brazilian Portuguese and will teach their accent and vocabulary. We cannot confirm whether your teacher will be Brazilian Portuguese or European Portuguese until one week before the start of the course. The difference between the two is similar to the difference between American English and British English. There are differences in accent, vocabulary and minor syntax and grammatical differences.
If you have a strong preference for either Brazilian Portuguese or European Portuguese you must state this, in writing, at the time of booking. We will endeavour to place you in a class with a teacher of the preferred accent/origin. If you fail to advise us of your preference in writing at the time of your booking but later request a refund on the basis that the teacher does not match your preference then your refund request will be rejected.
