Sales

Agency Sales Manager

As the Agency Sales Manager at Cactus, you will fully be responsible for the Agency sector of the business including driving sales and bookings across our agency products (language programmes in-country and TEFL programmes in the UK and overseas) as well as maintaining strong relationships with our partner schools.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Negotiate preferential commission rates & promotions with our language school partners globally
✅ Coordinate & oversee the pricing mix across the department
✅ Responsible for driving sales and generating strong leads by liaising with the marketing department
✅ Manage the agency department intern and ensure they are fully trained; support their sales activities
✅ Carefully monitor the agency targets and give support where needed to meet and exceed these targets
✅ Distribute leads, follow up on leads and opportunities, book customers on agency products, provide enhanced customer experience
✅ Work in conjunction with the MD to improve products and processes

Experience & Qualifications Required

✅ Sales focused & driven with knowledge and experience of tracking leads and increasing conversion rates
✅ Previous experience and a proven track record in working in a highly pressured sales environment

✅ Previous marketing knowledge and experience at increasing student recruitment through a variety of marketing channels
✅ Good understanding of the language travel market and the best schools

✅ Excellent attention to detail, telephone manner and ability to work on own initiative
✅ IT literate and good working knowledge of Skype, Power Point and web based presentation platforms
✅ Excellent spoken & written English (Level C2 in the case of non-native speakers)
✅ Fluency in at least 1 of the following languages: Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese

Corporate Training Account Manager

As an Account Manager, you will provide the interface between Cactus and its corporate and private tuition clients, and report directly to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Meet sales targets by regular contact with both active and non-active clients through phone, email and face to face meetings
✅ Increase sales through generating new clients via direct emailing, brochure distribution, networking, social media, promotions, online activity
✅ Manage enquiries and leads, distributing leads as appropriate

✅ Manage the International Language Consultant, ensure the full training is given, monitor their performance and support their sale activity
✅ Ensure effective communication is maintained with the Corporate Training Coordinator in order to deliver exceptional customer service to the clients

✅ Establish customers’ language levels, objectives and logistical needs, promoting and selling exceptional corporate language training provision

✅ Coordinate the set-up and on-going management of corporate language training courses and ensure and relevant information recorded accurately on client/student/teacher databases

✅ Engage in pro-active sales approach through sourcing leads and managing projects to create additional lead generation channels
✅ Apply cross-selling techniques where appropriate

Experience & Qualifications Required

✅ Proven track record of helping companies to grow their sales through effective, persistent communication with their client base

International Education Consultant

Cactus Language Training are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic sales professional to become a part of our busy Corporate Training Sales team, to engage and on-board our corporate and private clients by promoting and cross-selling the most appropriate language training options.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Provide first class customer & sales service for our corporate and private clients which include TripAdvisor, Burberry, Inditex, Merrill Lynch, Amnesty International, Jaguar and Citadel, among many others.

✅ Prioritise and convert leads, meeting turnaround times and utilising the most appropriate forms of communication with clients – face to face, telephone, Skype, chat, email.
✅ Build expert level knowledge of our products to establish customers’ language levels, objectives and logistical needs
✅ Coordinate the set-up and on-going management of corporate language training courses in a fast paced and demanding environment
✅ Strive to exceed sales targets through regular contact with both active and non-active clients through phone, email and face to face meetings
✅ Represent Cactus at trade shows and fairs both nationally and internationally when required
✅ Engaging in pro-active sales approach through sourcing leads and managing projects to create additional lead generation channels
✅ Work closely with the marketing department to provide insights and data, contributing to the marketing plan and strategy for the department

Language Courses Coordinator

Cactus Language Training are looking for a Language Courses Coordinator to organise our evening language courses and deliver exceptional customer service to our 6,000+ students a year, learning over 20 languages in 11 centres across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Provide exceptional customer service to our language students across the UK, managing incoming enquiries by phone, email and admin systems

✅ Develop and maintain a positive relationship with our 11 language centres across the UK, making visits when necessary
✅ Manage course offering, course bookings, group numbers, centre capacity and other logistical aspects of the course delivery

✅ Monitor and manage all student feedback, providing resolutions and solutions in order to exceed customer satisfaction

✅ Manage, support, train, monitor and develop language course assistants in the team
✅ Monitor feedback to ensure partner schools are performing against requirements
✅ Manage product offering to align with forecasted demand and teacher availability
✅ Liaise with the Marketing Team regarding promotions, discounts and offers

Person specification

✅ Confident communicator with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
✅ Excellent people, organisational and time management skills
✅ Previous customer service or call centre experience would be advantageous
✅ Education sector knowledge and team leader experience desirable, but not essential

Internship at Cactus Worldwide

Cactus Worldwide is a forward thinking, dynamic, international language training provider based in the beautiful and cultural city of Brighton in the South East of England. We have a professional, friendly team of around fifteen people working from our vibrant office space in Brighton.

An internship at Cactus offers versatility, responsibility, autonomy and practical on the job training. You will gain valuable experience of working in a UK business and learning a diverse range of business processes. You will need to be enthusiastic, adaptable and flexible with a hands-on approach to your work. Customer Service

We are a busy company and our customers can be from anywhere in the world so an ability to communicate with people from different cultures and backgrounds is essential. We offer many different language learning solutions and this role would include supporting our customer service team. Overview of responsibilities:-

✅ Friendly, assertive communication with new & existing clients; identify their learning needs and offer suitable options
✅ Daily response to email, phone & online chat enquiries aiming to increase conversion and promote our courses
✅ Daily processing of new orders, updating / cross checking information on the database
✅ Liaise with key contacts at our partner schools, advise of any changes to course schedule / attendance
✅ Assist the Language Courses Manager with ad-hoc tasks e.g Marketing promotions

Operations

Cactus works with a large number of freelance language teachers for our Foreign Language Evening courses as well as our Corporate Clients Private / Group Class Bookings. In this role you will provide support to the Operations Team with the day to day running of the department and in their communication with teachers. Overview of responsibilities:-

✅ Assist with teacher searches within and outside our database
✅ Communicate with teachers effectively by both email and telephone
✅ Screen Teachers CV’s, setup interviews & update database
✅ Update social Media with News & Teaching Opportunities
✅ Assist the Head of Operations with ad-hoc tasks e.g Course Book ordering
✅ Daily use of Microsoft Office programs, Microsoft Outlook & our bespoke company database

Sales

Sales and great customer service are key to any business so if you are driven, hungry, want to develop your Sales skills and maximise opportunities, we want you! In this role you will support the Sales Team with the day to day running of the Department, help source new leads and convert sales enquires to actual confirmed bookings!

✅ Support Sales Team with daily admin tasks e.g responding & monitoring enquiries via email, phone & online chat, create bookings on database, promote our services, follow up with students / clients
✅ Sell language holidays and corporate language training to clients through a consultative approach
✅ Carry out prospecting searches to source new company contacts to generate potential leads for the Sales Team
✅ Liaise with key contacts at partner schools and accommodation providers to ensure client documents received / completed correctly
✅ Assist the Head of Sales with ad-hoc tasks e.g Marketing promotions

Marketing

If you are studying a Marketing related degree / course modules and have a keen interest / experience in Marketing, this internship could be for you! We are looking for a creative individual who is able to understand a target audience and actively contribute to new campaign ideas. Digital marketing experience is preferred along with knowledge of HTML, on-page SEO, social media campaigns, back-linking and content writing. An interest in joined-up, multi-channel, data driven approaches & strategies. Experience of using WordPress or similar, InDesign, Photoshop, and Final Cut Pro is desirable.

✅ Identifying relevant websites for backlinks and backlink building
✅ Creating blog posts and web pages that are content driven and fully optimized
✅ Managing social media platforms for teachers
